Hi there, I'll be traveling to LA in July and need to find an inexpensive and safe hotel or motel near 6725 West sunset boulevard. I'm not familiar with that area so any help appreciated. If at all possible I can spend no more than $100.00 per night. Anything close to that area is fine as well. Thanks.

It's expensive around that area, where you'll find upscale boutique hotels & accommodations. The Comfort Inn (Sunset Strip) on 7051 Sunset Blvd. may be your best bet for the budget you've quoted. They're rates are around $99/night. Here's their website:

Since I live in LA, there hasn't been an opportunity to stay in a hotel here. But here are some names of hotels that might be in your price range. You'll have to see if any of them are close to the address you listed:

There are a number of hostels around LA:

I doubt they're on Sunset Blvd, but you could find the bus/subway schedule and travel cheaply.

Please realize that inexpensive and safe may not be possible together in LA.
After you select a place you may want to post back to see if anyone actually knows that particular neighborhood. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is!
