In reading a few responses, I was wondering:
1. Which beach is easy to get to and how does one get there from either the cruise ship teminal or the Old City, Lapard Beach or Copacabana Beach?
2. How does one get to Lopud from the Cruise Ship terminal or the Old City, and how does one get from the ferry landing to Sunj Bay Beach? And, is it worth it?

Lapad and Copacabana beach can both be reached from the Cruise terminal or old town by bus. See www.libertasdubrovnik.com for bus routes (short walk to the beaches from nearest bus stops).

To get to Lopud take either the Jadrolinija ferry or one of the Nova International boats which depart from the quay close to the Cruise terminal. To get to Sunj beach you will need get off ferry at Lopud and walk along the sea front until you get to the old hotel Grand and from there follow the path over the island, should take about 30 mins and there is a short cut off the main path down some steps and through the trees. It is a great beach but it can become crowded at weekends. It also has a large naturist section so you do not have to worry about taking swimming costumes ;-)
