Anyone know of a good way to organise a car pool in Adelaide?? I found a couple websites that match people up, but after registering with each of them, shock, horror, there is noone in Adelaide registered on their sites ... except ME!

Am I really the only person in Adelaide who wants to commute in a car pool??

If you live near Glenelg and work anywhere near North Terrace and you have a car but want some money for petrol and some company for the drive (I can drive too if you like) ... please let me know!! :)

It's so hard to be environmentally conscious these days! Public transport here in Adelaide is just shocking at the moment, I've had it up to here. The tram is always late and full and overpriced. I'm not upset enough (yet) to buy a car. ;)

maybe you have to be proactive - post notices on lamposts- advertisments in local papers - approach local radio stations - get it going

That's a great idea about the radio station! Call ABC radio 891, sorry I don't have the number, I'm sure you'll have some good responses and start a conversation that,perhaps, Adelaide needs to have.
