I have just booked and paid for a Safari with O'lei Safaris, transferring the money across to them over the last weekend.

I have just e-mailed them to try and find out if they recieved my money.

I've just looked on there website and it says....

ACCONT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED

Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.

I found them on this site which I thought was pretty offical

Please someone tell me we haven't just lost all our money?

The website (Travel Uganda) is based in Switzerland. I find that a bit odd.

Do you have an address, telephone number for the safari company? Did you (please tell me you did) pay by credit card?

If you have names and addresses in uganda you can telephone the Police there.

http://www.traveluganda.co.ug/ is a v good official site, however unfortunately they don't check the solvency of tour operators. Especially in Uganda it is a big risk to trust a tour operator with less than 3 years solid history. Each year probably around 30 tour operators go bankrupt within 12 months of starting up due to lack of business plan, lack of funds and corruption. Really hope this isnīt the case with your tour operator.

To whom it may concern,
I hope this issue was resolved! I have a personal relationship with the owner of O'Lei Safaris and I know that it is a solvent company with outstanding service. My family and friends have used O'Lei Safaris on several occasions, traveling from the US to Uganda.

If for some reason, this was not resolved, feel free to respond to this Msg and I'll work to assist you with a remedy to your situation. I would not like to see "remarks that appear negative" about such an outstanding tour company.

How are you going to do that if you are just a customer? Please explain your profession.

I will try to help you track the guys if really things go bad, but for now, i personally don't know the Company but that doesn't mean it can't be genuine.
