Hello.
We are landing at Zurich airport on 1st of May, and I asume it is a public holiday as almost everywhere in Europe. Does anybody know if there are atm at the airport or should we get swiss money before traveling?

Our plan is to ride a train from the airport to St. Gallen and then another train to Gais. Is it posible to pay with credit card, right?

Hi!Yes,you can pay with credit card at any SBB counter or ticket machine.There are also cash machines at the airport and money exchange.

When you buy a ticket, buy one all the way to Gais, you don't need separate tickets. 1st of May is indeed a public holiday in Zürich (but not in all of Switzerland), but this year it coincides with ascension day, which is also a public holiday. Shops in the airport should be open though, as are shops in the railway stations.

- Airport shopping level : Credit Suisse ATM + Post ATM
- Rail travel center SBB : Raiffeisen ATM + ZKB ATM

Credit/debit cards are widely used in Switzerland.
