Hi Guys

I'll be travelling to Uzbekistan in the first week of May for 2 weeks. Can any one help me in searching budget accomodations in Tashkent, Samarkend and Bukhara. Please guide me the best possible sites to visit as I'll be there for two weeks. Do I have to make registration with police after I reach Tashkent or so.

Besides what are the customs to visit traditional Uzbek Families. What sort of gifts to be taken to there homes. Any cultural things or other info someone wanna share with me.

You can find many details at my page incl. customs, accomodation etc. The registration is made by hotels, do not worry about it. Uzbeks are very nice community and they will love to host you at their places. Better to bring them your local stuff.

Man since I am buddget traveler I am more intrested in some youth hostels, or backpackers residence. If you came accross any of those back there please let me know. I have been trying since days for those on net but so far had no luck.
