Hi there,
Of course you can use SGD in JB, it's more than welcome due to the exchange rate. It's advise to change to Ringgat & use there. Exchange rate is like 2.2 (give or take)

Not advisable for you to use SGD in JB.
There are plenty of money changer across the border and the rates are uniform, should not differ much among the stalls. Change SGD to MYR Ringit. Rate is around S$1 to MYR2.2

change at least SGD 100. change lesser than that and the rate is a bit lower.
rate should be around 2.28 now

Yeah, now the rate is about 2.3 at the money changers. Don't change at the bank. The money changers are honest, don't worry.
