Hi all, the net gives some hints on what accommodation etc is available, but not much info on which places are child friendly, Family is 2 adults and 4 children 8,6,4 and 2yrs. Looking for budget package for family planing to visit July 08 stay for 3 weeks. Any suggestions? We live in Papua New Guinea so used to roughing it if need be.

Actually Panglao Isand have many kind of acommodation to choose and almost all is child friendly, better look Philippine Airline website they have a package they call it PALAKBAYAN the price is reasonable.

Hello. you can try Dumaluan Beach Resort. When we visit bohol we choose this place, and its a quite place, you and your family will relax and enjoy here. They a have a swimming pool which your kids can try and also they have a family room or villas i think. I dont know if they a have website. Just to give you an idea, we are family of five ( me, my wife, my kids-> 13, 11 and 10). Our trip was a blast. We stayed at La Residencia at Bohol Divers resort. They have a pool exclusive for La Residencia occupants. My kids had a choice to stay either at the pool or at the beach. The beach is 50 meters away from La Residencia. A dedicated househelper was appointed to us to attend to our needs.

As Thonyang0217 mentioned, try the service of Tata Rabe. I got her service for airport pick-up, resort booking at La Residencia, transportation around Bohol, island hopping, purchase of ferry ticket (we had a side trip to Cebu Island), service going to pier. No downpayment was requested from me at that time. I just have to give initial payment upon arrival at Bohol maybe for gasoline expense and fee for buffet lunch and museums.

I'm from Bohol and I've been to most of the tourist spots in my province, I would recommend this site www.bohol.ph for you to check out first. Learn about the place and you will enjoy it the most.

Personally, I would recommend that you stay at Bohol Beach Club especially that you are travelling with your family. Pre-arrange a tour from local operators. I personally know some of these courteous Boholano tour operators:
