Not all hotels in Camiguin accept credit cards. Call first the hotel/resort where you plan to stay and inquire if they accept credit cards and what credit cards they accept. Visa and Mastercard are more commonly accepted in the Philippines. Bring some cash and your ATM cards. Camiguin is a bit rural, so be prepared.

By the way, are you going to Camiguin Island-Province in Northern Mindanao or Camiguin Island in Northern Luzon? There are TWO Camiguin named islands in the country. Not sure if this is the correct category you have posted in.

Caves accepted credit cards and here's a surprise: they didn't charge an additional fee to do so. A lot of places will charge 5-8% more to handle the bank's charge (plus make a little money). Johnny's dive 'n' fun downstairs did charge this, for instance. So, I paid hotel with cr card and dive with cash.

But do bring cash. I was unable to find an ATM that accepted foreign cards, although there is a Landbank and a Bank of the Philippines in Mumbajao that accept Filipino ones in their ATMs
