Hi there.
I will be in Minsk in August for a few days but paln on travelling on to Vilinus. Could anybody advise me the best way to get there-by bus or train.Ideally I would like a websit giving me times etc., and even better to book on-line! Thanks in advance. |

there are direct trains from vilnius to minsk.

For the trains:
http://www.litrail.lt/wps/portal Unfortunately, most trains go to Minsk only on some days, but "Remarks" explaining the system is only in Lithuanian. You have to check if the train is available on the date you need. Buses of the TOKS company are listed here: http://www.autobusai.lt/en/schedule_en.php, But there should be a couple more. I could not locate web page listing them, you should check that on location - bus terminal and railway station are across the square.
