Vienna 5 days in vienna
Posted: Mon April 7, 2008 06:05 AM UTC
Thank you Globetrot!

I have a few more questions:

1. We will be staying at Renwegg (3rd district). Are there any restaurants, cafes, supermarkets within walking distance? Is upper Belvedere within walking distance?

2. If we buy the weekly pass for transportation does our 6-year-old have to pay in trams/buses/subway?

3. Nachmarkt is open every day or only on Saturdays?

Yes he's already 6. Do you think we can get away with it or do we end up behind bars???:):)
The thing is, if there arent't weekly tickets for children or 3day pass, and we need to buy tickets for every single time he gets on a bus/tram/train it means that all we'll ever do is ticket search!!

Should we try the Donauturm or it's a waste of time and money? I've read conflicting reviews about it.

Donauturm makes sense only in perfect weather, AND the lift up there is the fastest in Europe, so the pressure in your ears will be "confused" quite a lot...
normally there are all types of tickets also for children (and for dogs) for a smaller price !
