If you are talking about the GC National Park, yes there is a $25 per vehicle entrance fee. This is for either the north or south rim and is good for 7 days. If you walk in it is $12 per person. Once inside the park at the south rim, there are free shuttles to take you along the rim to various viewpoints. Also, there are free interesting, amusing and informative ranger talks on various topics: Condors, fossils and the Colorado River to name a few.
If you are talking about the Sky walk on the western end there is a fee of $30 plus $20 parking and from what I have heard it used to be very difficult to drive in so the best bet might be a tour if you want to see the Skywalk.

You can buy a National Parks Pass for $80.00. The pass will allow you to get into all the National Parks for a year.
