I just read on the press the Harry's bar in Venice does a discount of 20% only to american tourist cause of the low dollar.

The 20% discount news is, in fact, true. But the owner says he and his staff won't be checking passports, just listening for American accents. Since Harry's is so expensive, it's deterring penny-pinching American travelers. The owner was quoted in press reports saying his business is down substantially. So if this discount ploy catches on, possibly look for more incentives from more venues and attractions in more countries who, while some may not like Americans or America, definitely love the Yankee dollar and still want as many as they can get.
