Hi all,

Thanks for your input to my earlier questions.

I have decided to go to these places in a day. Is it possible? Can someone tell me the sequence of travel I should proceed, ie. which places should go to first and thereafter so I will not be travelling back to the same place next dooR :p

the places are:
1) Plaza Indonesia
2) Pacific Palace
3) ITC Mangga Dua
4) Taman Puring
5) Blk M
6) Senayan City
7) Mini Indonesia
8) Monas

If I remember correctly, you can take the Busway to go from Blok M (South Jakarta - its the last halt for the Busway) to Plaza Indonesia (Bundaran H halt) and then onwards to Monas (Monument Nasional halt) - all this should be doable in a day. Mini Indonesia is outside of the city centre on the way to Bogor, its normally 1/2 day trip from Jakarta. Not so sure about other places in your list, maybe the local VTers could assist on this.

I don't believe that you can go to the places in your list in one day. Taman Puring, Blok M and Senayan City is in South Jakarta. Plaza Indonesia, Monas and Pacific Hotel is in Cetral Jakarta. ITC Mangga Dua is in North Jakarta. Taman Mini Indonesia Indah is in East Jakarta.
There are TransJakarta busway connects Blok M to Plaza Indonesia/Monas.

There is absolutely no way that you can visit all those places in one day. As earlier suggested by fellow vt members, best means of transport is to use the busway (Transjakarta). Depending on where you will start your journey, if you start from Plaza Indonesia: -->(South Direction)Pacific Place (stop in front of Police main headquarters), Senayan City (stop at Ratu Plaza then continued to walk to Senayan City around 200 - 300 meters from the stop) --> Blok M plaza (either you walk back to the busway stop at Ratuplaza or take a cab) --> Taman Puring (take cab from Blok M Plaza).

North Direction --> still using busway -->Monas-->Kota then connect using bus to ITC Mangga Dua.

Taman Mini --> best to allocate at minimum 1/2 to 1 day to visit this place due to traffic jam and vast coverage area. Best to rent a car to go to this place.
