| Khabarovsk | Things to do Posted: Thu October 2, 2003 01:21 PM UTC
Hi
I'll be in Khabarovsk for a business visit and will have a free afternoon. Any suggestions for tours in English or in Russian (better - in English). Any theatres. Thanks. |

Here is playbill (of course in Russian) of Khabarovsk's theatres for October. Unfortunately I haven't visit any, but heard a little bit about "Belyi" (White) theatre. It is modern avant-garde "chamber" theatre.

My wife is in Khabarovsk now. Her name is Natalie Smith and her phone number is 292-808. It is possible that she can help you also. I have been there many times. A trip to the circus, if they are in town, is always a treat. A relaxing walk along the Amur river is always very nice. It was recently re-furbished and is beautiful. In the center of the city, you can walk Lenin square (second in size to Red Square in Moscow) or any of the parks. Just North of Lenin square is a childrens park that is nice.
Have Fun, Randy
