| Shenzhen | Best place to get dried oysters in Shenzhen Posted: Sun April 6, 2008 05:34 AM UTC
My sister has asked me to get some dried oysters for her. Where should I go looking for stuff like that? Is there a street or concentration of shops selling dried seafood, etc. in Shenzhen? Thanks.

Hi Ellyse, it's good to hear from you again. How are you?
For some reason I always associated bulk dried seafood with small local shops selling Chinese herbs and stuff.....maybe I should look in supermarkets, too :)

Yup, that's usually the case in Malaysia and Singapore. But when in Yunnan when we asked where to find dried mushrooms, everyone directed us to Carrefour and the big supermarkets. :P
