thank you for the advice...im flying into orio al serio which as far as i know is 20km from milan centrale station...i reckon i'll stay in the airport until 5.30 then get a bus to the train station...do u know if buses run throughout the nite?...

No, Orioshuttle buses don't run through the night they stop at 00.15 and then the next one is at 04.50: http://www.orioshuttle.com/?a=1&arg=0&l=e
Incidentally what are you doing in the Zermatt forum when question concerns Milan/Bergamo?
