Does anyone have current information on this small hotel?

We just got back from staying at the La Torre apt. We stayed there four years ago and loved the location so much that we wanted to go back. Our room is built into a cliff right below a tower (La Torre). From there, the apartment's patio probably has the best view of all the rooms in the town with views of both the sea and the town. It is also right by the trail to Corniglia. Unfortunately, the room inside has gone down hill over the past four years. It certainly was never luxurious before, but it has become a bit dumpy, particularly the bathroom. There is mold all over the tiny shower and the toilet is old with stains inside the bowl that are not the most appealing. The bathroom also smells bad. It just needs a good scrubbing with bleach. Also, the bed linens and pillows seemed like they are at least 10 years old. Further destroying our experience of the place was the owner showing up at 9:45 the day we were leaving and told us we had to be out by 10:00 because some new people were coming. We had slept in that day and had just woke up not long before she knocked on the door.

The gorgeous view unfortunately does not make up for the poor quality of the room. We would find a different place to stay if we go back to Vernazza. The Cinque Terra is our favorite place in the world! Find a nice room to stay at and enjoy this amazing place in Italy.

Buon giorno sir. wheeler,unfortunately some person don t know how they can spend the free time. i know these person that has wtite this e-mail. they were in the apartament, the best place that i can offer to a pair for the seaview, the comfortable inside, the cleaning. when they re arrive we ve speak about the time for leave the room: 10 o'clock in the morning. was the day for leaving the room, i arrive there at 10.30 from la spezia with the train, because in winter we live there, and i find still the person to sleep. if i give to them a time of leave the room and they are agree since the begin after they cannot be angry if i come at 10.30. in plus they write me this sentences in internet without reason. because not one word is true about the apartament, they was only angry because they want stay more. and for me are not good person for this all that they ve make. they can told me also before that was a problem for them go outside of the room in this time. i give also 30 minutes in plus to them because i arrive in deleye, so for prepair all in the final they were outside at 11. the problem was that in this day arrive the hydraulies that that sometimes in the year come for make a control for all the rooms, so more time he stay there more money he take from me, because also him has his termins. so i ve also loose also money for this people. i don t understand really this pair. i ve to work and i don t like the person that play with me, also because this winter i ve made an operation to the foot and i need 3 months before begin till to walk normal. vernazza is full of steps so is not funny go up and down only for their lazy. i m a lot surprise for their strange reaction, write some senteces outside of the wordl about the apartament. they have try to slander me without reason. you re not the first person to ask me this. my room are all clean and you haven t to be worry for this. What site was it from? Do you remember? Do you think I should post her response on that site? There are obviously two sides to the story. I think we will stay there in September and then I can report first hand.
