If you could help with these questions:
1. What is on Lokrum? Is there a beach? What is there to see or do? Please advise. 2. How much does the bus cost from the cruise ship terminal to the city gates? What currency do they accept? 3. About how long does it take to see the sites in the old town? |

1. Not much, a ruined building (maybe now in restoration), nature trails, a cafe (and ice cream stand, yum), a botanical garden with some unusual plants. The beaches are rocky--with ladders allowing for sea access. Some are naturist but not all. The appeal is the view(s)--and getting away from the crowds in old town for a couple hours.
2. Pay in kuna. I believe it costs 10 kuna. 3. Hard to say. You could see the town itself in a few hours. Add on time for the places you want to see, such as the cloisters, the cathedral, etc. The wall walk takes about an hour if you just walk and don't stop to take in the views and take photos. You really want to linger in some cafes and explore all of the back streets of old town.
