Hiya
I am flying with easy jet into Krakow and wondered if there are plenty of taxis at the airport to get to my hotel, we are staying at the radisson, and does anyone know how much a taxi normally costs thanks Michelle |

We had no problem getting a taxi. There were plenty of them waiting outside the terminal when we arrived. I can't remember the price.

About 50-60ZL (to city centre) if I remember correctly.
Exit the the airport through the left-hand door and the taxi rank is infront of you.

There are also frequent buses from right outside the terminal - maybe not the style of the Radisson! but cheap and convenient enough none the less! but yes taxis are convenient and fairly cheap too. when i was there 3 years ago anyway.

Hi, don't know if this is still valid - you don't mention when you're going - but I took a taxi TO the airport just yesterday from Kazimierz (only a little further than the Radisson). I was surprised to pay 72zl (about £17). The fares have gone up since the taxi zones were redrawn recently and, as Paul says, the exchange rate is a killer right now.
I make the journey often but I wouldn't normally do it by taxi. The 'Balice Express' shuttle train runs every 30 minutes and takes just 15 minutes to get to the main railway station in the centre of town (Dworzec G?ówny). That's a shorter journey than any taxi and costs just 6zl (£1.40). A taxi to your hotel will cost another 10-12zl.
