Mendoza Mendoza Area Accomodations
Posted: Fri April 4, 2008 01:28 AM UTC
I'm traveling to Mendoza during October and will be there for three nights. I want to stay somewhere outside of the city center but don't want to rent a car (ideally somewhere that is still walking distance to some restaurants). I found the following places. Can anyone tell me which is the best or if they would not recommend any of these places for any particular reason?
-Club Tapiz, Carlos Pulenta La Posada, Robles de Besares, Casa Glebinias, Lares de Chacras and Finca Adalgisz

I stayed in the Mendoza area in March. Casa Glebinias was well worth the money. And Roberto and Maria were gracious and helpful hosts. I recommend Casa Glebinias. I know nothing about the others except that the Club Tapiz is very expensive.

When I contacted them, I used Spanish. Roberto speaks English, but Maria doesn't. Maria usually is the one who corresponds via email. I'm sure you could contact them if you had someone translate your request into Spanish.

Also, this is the address I used to email Casa Glebinias: info@casaglebinias.com. Good luck.
