There are all kinds of rental cars in Chicago. Do you mean from the airport?
Here are some inexpensive ones: Budget Enterprise Rent-A-Car Ace Rent A Car Thrifty Car Rental Alamo Go to this site for specifics: www.rentalcarmomma.com/cities/chicago.htm Dee

When I rent cars I either do a search on Expedia or Travelocity which compares all the different rentals out there or book off Hotwire or Priceline. I like the Expedia way better though, because Hotwire and Priceline are non refundable where most car rentals don't even require a credit card to hold them. That being said I just got a full size car in Los Angeles for $11.95 per day on Hotwire.

| Chicago | Another URL to get car rental prices Posted: Fri April 4, 2008 05:17 PM UTC
It would be of no use to list specific car rental companies -- discounts and sales for each of them change literally by the minute, and a fantastic price from one company on one specific day for one type of car would probably be of no use to you if you wanted to do a different day or different car type. The only thing you can do is check several companies to find a good price for the car you want on the days you want. Fortunately, there are a few URLs that allow you to do exactly that.
One that I have found quite useful is www.kayak.com You can specify either at the airport or in the city.

One thing to keep in mind is the insurance. It can be the one thing that can change the lowest rate into the highest rate. Check to see if your regular car insurance or your credit card company will cover you while you drive the rental.
But most of all- make sure you have it.

| Chicago | Cost per day of rental car Posted: Mon April 7, 2008 01:18 PM UTC
> how much it could cost me per a day?
That's like asking "How much does a meal cost?" The ONLY correct answer to both is "it depends on your choices." For a rental car, it depends on (1) when you rent it, (2) what type of car you want, (3) for how long you rent it, and (4) what add-ons you want. Only YOU can answer those questions, thus only YOU can answer the question of how much a rental would cost. If you go to the sites we've mentioned and enter your choices, you'll get the ONLY meaningful answer that can be gotten. Doing that is a LOT faster and a LOT more accurate than trying to get an answer here.
