Valencia Formula 1 Accommodation ??? Any Help !!

Hi there,

Been trying to book some cheap (or whatever I can get!!) accommodation in Valencia for the Grand Prix weekend in August. Everywhere is booked out !! Anyone have an ideas of nearby resorts that have good access by rail or bus or any ideas for hotels I may have missed ???

I am not going to promise anything but that I will try. Please tell me how many of you want to make it and which type of a ticket are you looking out for. From what I know the prices go from 195 Euros to 500 Euros - these have been the official prices. Please holding some tickets now will surely sell them for some me Once I have some information from your side I will try as I mentioned before. If anything is available I will put you into contact with te person who could help you by just facilitatng the contacts and no other interest of any type but trying to help.

Have you tried venere.com Last minute.com or Bookings.com, Valencia tourist info office etc?

Yeah...thats right!! I have got my tickets already and am looking for accomodation for 2 adults for 4 nights from 22nd August. I have tried all the usual sites lik lastminute, expedia, ebookers....tried camping sites as well.....no luck !!! if you have any contacts or ideas it would be great. I am wondering if there are any suburbs that can be suggested that will be less busy with easy access to the city ?? Thanks for everyones time so far....

I did make an enquiry with a friend of mine of a travel agency. They have packets of tickets + hotels. For now he has offered me a 5 star suite in a hotel that is about 25 kilometers off Valencia which is quite expensive but with availability at this momet for the dates tha tyou want. In any case he has promised to give me more information. You can contact him directly at the following address - jovlc-campanar@barceloviajes.com - his name is Diego and he is the manager in an office of barcelo Viajes, which is quite a prestigious travel company in Spain. You can quote my reference and all the best in your quest for rooms.

Have you looked at places about 1 or 2 hours from Valencia?

As the official training and the race normally start at 2pm there would be plenty of time for commuting. You could even rent a car, and then park at a park and ride carpark...

There's only one with four nights in a row (I think that's what you said) but there are a few others with the odd night here and there; if you're prepared to swap around.
I'll be there with friends too, so don't book all the beds :-) We've not booked anywhere yet either but are considering having a base outside of Valencia and getting trains/buses in.

Hi!! Are you still looking for accomodation in Valencia during the Grand Prix Weekend???
We will probably be away and thinking of renting out (part or all) our penthouse on one of the main avenues of Valencia (10 + 11th floor, great views 360º) during that period. Directly connected by underground & bus to airport, centre & port/circuit.
Let me know if you're interested. (No agencies).
