A friend and I are visiting Cinque Terre from a Thursday to a Saturday in May. Which town should we stay in? We're 27, so we're hoping for a place that is beautiful with local flavor, and may have a small nightlife scene. We are not expecting to do any major partying, but we'd like to find something to do in the evenings. Which town would be best?

Vernazza is my favorite. What a gem of a place. You can find reasonable accommodation down by the marina... what a special place.
