Greetings from the USA:
We had asked about the following apartments in an earlier posts: "Lady Wynd Apartment" 5/3 Lady Wynd, Grassmarket, Edinburgh, EH1 2LH and "Blair Apartment" 21/9 Blair Street, Edinburgh Now we find out that neither is available for the time we want it .... :o( We found another apartment: "Balmore House" 34, Gilmore Place, Edinburgh EH3 9NQ Is anyone familiar with the apartment building or the street location it is on ?? Is this a nice area to be in ?? Is it near all the main attractions ?? The place looks ok on the internet, but we cannot find many reviews on it ?? We look forward to your input. That is still very central and just up Lothian Road from the end of Princes Gardens. In fact it is very very close to the Sheraton Hotel, and see what is close by there with this link:
