Hi people,

Does anyone know if it is possible to travel from Rio up to Venezuala and how long it would realisticaly take overland?

Also the same for Rio to Iguacu Falls.

I am sure you can go from Rio to Venezuela over land....it would take quite some time though as there is only one route through the Amazon and I am sure it is quite slow. I do know that to go from Rio to Iguacu Falls you are looking at around 24 hours on a bus give or take a few.....recommend the flight if it is in your budget (although don't miss the falls they are amazing!!)

i did that trip 2 years ago and i spend 3 months.
you can do it quicker though if you want.
it's a fantastic trip.
