Key West Travel Forum

I'm planning to stay in Key West for most of June. I can't find anyone interested in tagging along, and frankly, I think that is kind of exciting.

My question:
Are there any things I should know about vacationing alone, or about Key West in general? This will be my first time seeing the ocean. Hopefully that gives you an idea about how unweathered I am.

Key West is a wild place! I had a lot of fun there. Lot of bars, lot of party. Yeah, I saw gays around ... I saw them all over southern Florida. I saw lot of chicks all over southern Florida, as well.

Have a good time pal ... it's not just the fact that you'll see the ocean by first time, you'll be at the Caribbean Sea ... which means: party time! Enjoy it!!

There is no limit of things to do in Key West, and most likely they are all within walking distance. Key West Beaches aren't the greatest, so don't judge the ocean by them. Much prettier in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Key Largo etc. The snorkeling trips are awesome, but I think there are also glass bottom boat tours as well. Make sure to go to Mallory Square at sunset, there are alot of performers and artists, generally a real fun atmosphere. Have fun!
