Hi all,

I know this is a boring question. But after reading thru the forum...I didnt really got the answers I wanted.

I am a 25 years old guy visiting Jakarta alone next month. I will be there for 3 days.

What are the must visit sightseeing places? Where are the good shopping places - landmark shopping centres, good market places etc.?

Can someone help me with this itineary?

PS. Museums, monuments or parks and similars are out for me.

Where will you be staying in Jakarta? Jakarta has lots of high end shopping malls. To name a few are Plaza Indonesia, and a brand new one is Pacific Palace. If you're looking for more like a local market with cheaper prices, you can go to a market place called Mangga Dua. Is there anything particular you want to see (or eat) ?

There are a lot of interesting places for you to visit such as: Ancol Beach with its Ocean Theme Parks, Fantasi Land, Art Market, Sea world etc.. Or you can visist the Beatiful Indonesia in Miniature where you can admire the Indonesian 27's tribe houses from East Sumatra to West Irian.
If you are the shopper, there are a lot of places where you can do the shopping spree such as: ITC Mangga Dua Super Mall (Groceries), WTC Mangga Dua (Best Quality goods)or Sogo-Senayan for branded stuffs.
Do you like to enjoy Jakarta's night life..? simply Just walking to the Mangga Besar area,then explore it by yourself.
If you are a golfer, just bring your golf bag and enjoy your tee-off either in Jakarta or in its neighborhood Bogor. The green fees will be arround USD 70.00/for 18 holes including Green fees, caddy and golf cart (buggy).

Usually, If people want to know historical of Jakarta, they will go to Fatahillah Museum
