hi im planning to visit taipe but im just a budget traveller i was wondering if i can go around the city nothing fancy with just basics for $100 transport & food allowanz & are there budget hotels for $11 a night?

At your budget at a mere $11 for a night hotel, you will never get a hotel room for sure. Most reputable inns ( not 3 star yet ) will charge you at least $70 for a night. You will have a hard time scouting around for dormitories or hostels but I doubt it will be safe and clean.

If you are really on a tight budget of $100, you shouldn't have planned for this holiday trip to Taipei in the first place. You will be missing all the fun in Taipei, which is famous for shopping, night clubs, food (of course)!

I would recommend you to increase your budget and really ENJOY it all out in Taipei - for at least once reward yourself. :)
