Hi! I am interested in taking a Vespa tour of Tuscany. Does anyone know of other tours to take other than the ones advertised with Scooterbella or Italy by Vespa? Scooterbella is much more economical but wondered if there was anyone offering a discount to their tour - now costing about $1350 Euro for 4 days. Thanks!

Does it have to be an organized tour?
In your place, i would rent the Vespa by myself, would study a lot of itineraries, and will go "to the adventure" just having a lot of hotel addresses... Or just "following your nose"! With a scooter... no one can stop you! Ciao Francesco

There is a book I suggest you read, it is "Vroom with a View" by Peter Moore. He is an Australian who bought an 1950's Vespa and travelled from the coast to Rome over a 3 month period. It's a great book, he has since written another where he bought another Vesper and went from Naples to Sicily. Just a suggestion but I agree with the other response, do your own thing.
