Zloty is correct. For up to date currency exchange, I often use the following site.
http://www.xe.com/ucc/ Also you can google the conversions and it'll come up. For instance if you want want to know how many GBP to Zloty, google: 1 GBP to Zloty.

Don't be tempted to try and use euros. They may be accepted in some touristy places, but you will almost certainly get a very poor exchange rate.
Always use the local currency.

When you get to Poland, slide your card through ATM and use whatever comes out ;-) lol

Never exchange money near the train station or airport, first compare the exchange rates in some Kantor`s (Money Exchange) in the city center.

We're still with the old currency, how about England? Are you still with the pound or already changed into EUR ?

The UK (not just England!) has still got the pound and has no plans whatsoever to adopt the euro.
