Hello
I am staying in Vegas in June and considering a Bus tour from Vegas to the canyon. There are 2 options, one to West Rim and one to South Rim. With the respective various viewpoints available at each Rim, I was wondering if anyone could advise which Rim in their opinion offers the better views? Kind Regards All |

South Rim -- period, hands down, no question, end of discussion.

The South Rim is probably the most popular one where you will get the best all around vista. However it is much further from Vegas than the West Rim so if you are going by coach I would think about going to the West Rim, it‘s still pretty breathtaking, and you might get more time there. There are a number of companies running tours and they will take you to one of the Indian reservations for a traditional BBQ.
The Skywalk is also at the West Rim but I have heard that it’s a bit over priced and over rated. Here are a couple of companies I have booked with in the past. http://www.vegas.com/ http://www.buylasvegastours.com/ Have a great trip Clive

South Rim
If you can spare the time and expense head for South Rim

Do not even think about the longer distance, there is no alternative to the beauty of the South Rim.

South Rim - without question
My favorite is actually North Rim but it is open just a few months a year.
