I once have found an url which helped me plan a trip in Budapest from one place to another inside the city with bus or metro.

Should you forget it next time:
Actually it can be reached from the BKV website, which is no. 2 result in Google for keywords 'Budapest transport'. From www.bkv.hu, it's just a click on the route planner banner.
