I think it is basically rooms above a jewellery shop. Very close to "boys town".

Soi 13 runs between Beach Road and Second Road.

John

Follow this link for more information. It does not look bad to me. If it were further up the street a way, I would be worried. Unless you are gay, Boy's town is not your place.

It's a bit old and stinky, but at around 700 baht a night, that is the best you can get.

One good thing about Pattaya, there are lots of cheap hotels. If you get there and the hotel is not what you expected, move. You can walk down the street and find another hotel that you like better. No Problem!

AA hotel or RESIDENCE???? there are TWO
both I think are Soi 13...or is that 12?

I stayed a few times at the one at the TOP (Second Road) end of the Soi by Lek Hotel. Although the last time it could have done with a lick of paint, it wasn't too bad BUT I took one of the "Deluxe" rooms which are nice and big with a small sitting/ dining area - price was between 7 to 9 hundred baht.

The seawiev is nice, and the rooftop pool is ok, but the rooms are small and not very clean.
I have been there one week 4 years ago, and will not go back. There is so many hotels in Pattaya, so why take this??

Have a nice trip;-)
