| Baguio | How to go to the strawberry fields (plantation) from Burnham Posted: Mon March 31, 2008 06:13 AM UTC
How can we go to the strawberry plantation from Burnham? Also, what are the places to see? We've been to Baguio but would like to see other places aside from Mines View, Mansion, market, Burnham, etc. We'd like to see other places. We have a car, so outside the city is ok.
Thanks |

From Burnham you go straight to Magsaysay Ave. pass the market as Magsaysay turns left at the traffic light and goes all the way to La Trinidad. Here you will see the Benguet State U campus on the right. Across it (towards the end of the compound) is the Strawberry Farm. There is a small sign on our left.

On the way to strawberry fields,at the boundary of Baguio and La Trinidad, and to the right is the Bell Church(entrance is beside the police station). A Chinese temple with a nice view of Baguio city.Nice photo ops and entrance is free.

| Baguio | places to see while in Baguio Posted: Wed May 14, 2008 02:31 AM UTC
i myself come from Baguio, and i cannot think of anymore places to see aside from the typical (Mines View, John Hay, CBD, PMA)... hmmn, it is about time you do the road trips from Baguio. Sagada is near Baguio, the mountain provinces (for ethnic taste) and Ilocos, La Union (for lowlands taste) depends on you though. Asin Hotspring is in Benguet, if you have not visited it yet. the last time i went there took me less than an hour to reach the resorts but i suppose it will take less time now since the road is better. Strawberry Farm is in Benguet (La Trinidad). From Benguet, you can move north, search the burial caves and try to climb Mt Pulag (next highest point from Mt Apo in Davao) through the amateur trail, it is colder than Baguio on top of the mountain. You can also see the Ambuklao Dam, it is magnificent, but it will take around, 3-4more hours i think (the last time i went there). You can also check out Balatoc Mines. They offer a tour in the mines and will be an educational trip, if you want to. hope this helps =)
