I'm finding it a bit difficult to work out lines S41 - S47. I need to go from Bundesplatz to Westend (direct). If I read correctly, I can take the S41 (which runs clockwise) to Westened. However, it also looks as if I can take the S46 and S47, but I'm not sure about this. Can anyone please confirm this?

It seems as if the S42 runs counter-clockwise, so I shall avoid it. I'm only interested in the lines that run clockwise from Bundesplatz to Westend.

Correct. S41 and S42 form the so called Ringbahn. S41 runs clockwise; S42 counter-clockwise.
So you could either catch the S41 or S47.

To: Westend

Either S41 or S46.
S 47 ends at Bundesplatz on Mo-Fr. On Sa or Su S47 ends already at Südkreuz.
Thus S 47 is no option to get from Bundesplatz to Westend at all.

Thank you for the info. I think it is best if I stick to just one line that I know will be going in the right direction. I'll get the S41.
