Honolulu Travel Forum

Greetings
My partner and I are holidaying in Hawaii from June 18 for one month. Looking for a non-touristy beach side (or near) one bedroom condo/accommodation. Would prefer on Oahu but for a great place would be willing to travel. On a fairly tight budget so a place that is around $500 or less would be ideal. Any help or suggestions where to start looking would be appreciated.

Finding a place for US $500 and/or less a month will be tough..
There are some rooms on S. King street I see for about that price ..but not very often.. Or also in Chinatown..

I think $500 for the month will be very difficult. I'd suggest looking on http://honolulu.craigslist.org/. Not sure about length of stay limitations but you might look into this hostel in Haleiwa on Oahu's North Shore:

I am betting $100 that you will not find a place anywhere in Hawaii for $500 for the month. I would look at www.vrbo.com for some of the best deals on rental locations.
