I am trying to book the final leg of my flight to Nairobi (and then to Arusha which is 5 hours on the bus as opposed to 10 from Dar es Salaam), from London. I planned separate legs because, based on an airfare advertised by Orbitz, it was the cheapest way to go. It is on KLM in July return London - Nairobi for for $635USD including taxes. For the past week, there have been pages of this fare posted showing different flight times, and it is also on Sidestep and Kayak through Orbitz, but when I click on the fare to select it, it says it`s no longer available and the price is now $1258.
I understand that fares fluctuate, but why keep advertising it for days and days when it`s not longer available?! I tried to email Orbitz 3x, but only got the standard generic response about how things change, blah blah blah. So, any suggestions as to another cheap route from London to Nairobi or Dar? All other fares seem to be $1000 +, so maybe that`s the best I can do. Ok, thanks everyone. :) Susan |
