| Marrakesh | Anyone stayed at Riad Agdese? Posted: Sat March 29, 2008 01:46 AM UTC
There doesn't seem to be any feedback on the internet. Anyone know if it's alright?

Certainly good points and definitely something to reflect on before booking. I wasn't sure if it was new, or maybe just too small for many people to have stayed there. I liked the pictures on it's website, and the price seemed good, so I figured I'd see if anyone had any good/bad experiences with it.

I know a lot of ryads in Marrakech and never heard of this before.
Have you tried their website if they ever have one ?? I could suggest another probably better than this one called ryad les souvenirs de Marrakech.Their rates are only 45 € per night with breakfast. You may call them at this number: 212 24 37 84 02 Cheers, rachid_qotaibah2002@yahoo.fr

Ok, here are a few pointers!
1) There are so many hotels in Marrakech that plenty of people will never have heard of them 2) If you like the photos and have had good communication with the hotel - risk it 3) Riad Souvenir is not in the best location. Not very centrally located. I don't think the pointers the 1st posting made are good at all. That attitude creates typical lemming effect. Let me know your budget and i'll give you a few suggestions

I agree that there is a no reason to completely rule out something because it doesn't show up on travel review sites. We have a limited budget for our riad - under 100 E. a day for three people. We understand we won't be getting a palace for this price, but we are fine with a clean but basic room. Our problem is there are so many choices, and having never been there before it's a bit daunting. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
