Take a walking tour of the city. I met my tour guides at the Marienplatz in front of the clocktower in the morning, I believe the company is called Munich Walks. I did the Hitler's Munich walking tour and it was great. It's about 10 euros per person.
You can also do a tour of the Dachau Concentration camp. You meet in the morning at the same place mentioned above. The tour cost 18 euros per person and that covers the train ride over there. The tour guides were very knowledgable and it's great exercise.

Both EasyJet and Air Berlin fly from Munich to London-Stansted. But the major airlines sometimes match or even beat the budget fares and take you into more convenient London airports. Take a look at www.kayak.com or www.mobissimo.com to determine what the cheapest far might be for the travel date(s) you have in mind. (use airport code MUC for Munich and LON for all London airports).

As for interesting things to do in Munich... there is plenty to do, and literally thousands of VT tips to read on the subject. Take a look at the Munich VT page (on the top right of this page, where it says "Search:", just type in "Munich," and then click on the link. Enjoy! :)
