| Alghero | Alghero Advice Posted: Fri March 28, 2008 12:38 PM UTC
Hi, can anyone tell me what the weather is like in Alghero at the moment? My parents are flying out on Sunday and don't know whether to pack summer or winter clothes. Any advice on places of interest to visit would be appreciated as it looks like it is not the main tourist season their at this time of year so will many places be open? How easy is it to visit Corsica? Most advice seems to be to hire a car, will it be very difficult to get around and see places without one? Sorry lots of questions, last one though, does anyone know what the transport is like from the airport to Alghero?

Weather in Alghero is from temperate to sunny warm in this period, tipically spring, sudden short showers are possible, certanly the nicest for a visit. If the want to visit the iterior of the island they might want a heavier clothing for higher spots. A car is a must if they want to get around and see things, the same goes for Corsica, so my guess is they might just as well rent one in Alghero, since the ferries are very reasonable and fequent. Both places are beautiful, reasonably safe, small roads are compensate by he view. A navigator could be an asset.
