| Vienna | Vienna Accomandations Posted: Fri March 28, 2008 05:10 AM UTC
This September my parents and I will be going to Vienna for the first time. I would like to find a nice place to stay. It would be great to find a place in the mid price range and near the city center. We are open to B&B's, apartments or a nice hotel.
Any suggestion would be great. |

The Hotel Kolbeck is really lovely for the price. I paid 45 Euro for a single room there last June. It is on the Laxenburgerstrasse and is close to the underground and has a tram stop right at the door. It is in a shopping precinct and there are several well priced restaurants and some really good department type stores close by. To get to the city sights is extremely easy by underground and only takes a few minutes. Breakfast is included and is really good with lots to choose from. The rooms are huge and have just recently been completely renovated. Internet facilities are available in the lobby. For budget accommodation this is as good as it gets. It can be booked through www.venere.com.

Hi,
I'd recommend Hotel Atlantis in the 15thdistrict, very close to Viennas cultural center. Have a look at http://tinyurl.com/25dfo4 as well as on my Vienna-pages. There you'll find Hotel MATE, probably also a very good choice in the medium priced segment. Have a nice trip!

Hotel Zur Weiner Staatsopher...loved it and the location. It is a family run hotel and they REALLY make you feel at home.

We stayed at Starlight Salzgries which I think was a bargain for a suite(bedroom&living room) very close to the centre, bus to airport and underground and all for 110Euro. Breakfast very good and a sauna running which eas heaven before going to sleep
