I would like to know the best way to get from the Gare de Lyon train station to the town of Beauvais in order to catch a flight out of the Paris Beauvais airport the next morning. We would be arriving in Paris around 8:00 pm. Thank you.

There are trains to Beauvais from the Gare du Nord, 1h12 or a bit more when you have to change at Creil. Beauvais airport is at Tille, and the only public transport from Paris is a bus from Porte Maillot, which takes +/- 1h20.

Metro from Gare de Lyon to Porte Malliot (line 1) - 30 minutes at most
5 minute walk to bus that goes directly to Beauvais http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com/index.php?lang=eng and click on the "Official shuttle service" link Bus takes around 90 min, leaves every 20 minutes or so
