Hi Trish,
Checked out the dates for you, It begins 10 days prior to Poya Day which is on the 16th August. The Start day & time could change just a little bit, cause they look for a "Nekath" good time. Hope you have a great time. Cheers, Emile.

Hi viajesdelMundo,
EMILE has given you the correct answer.I would advise you to book a place early or arrive in the island afew days earlier,check for a place with a better view and book the same for a couple of days.If you can get a place with a balcony so much the better.How about having a VT meeting in the meantime.
