ME and a couple of girls are going to alicante in september
but we are 19
we all have full uk driving licences.
can we hire a car or are we not old enough
if we can does anyone know where in alicante or close by?
or if we can't rent a car where can we hire mopeds?
please help

You have to be 25 to hire cars here I think and have a years driving experience. If the age is any lower it will be 21 with a years driving experience, but I suspect it is 25 as that is the age of becoming a fully fledged adult here :S

Don't know anything about motos though. It may be possible! You could always hire a bike ;)

yer i'v tried a few places and they have all said 21.
but on google it says sometimes they will hire to under 21s they just add a charge on
but no luck yet.
but id really like to hire a moped instead but can't seem to find anywhere close to alicante to hire them from

No sorry I haven't. You are right there may e some places that let you if you have a years experience and are under 21 for an extra charge. I take it you have tried eurocar?

I don't know much about moped hiring, if there is such a thing I think they are likely to be small local companies. Maybe that goes for renting cars to under 21's too.

Try putting in google: Alquiler motos Alicant or Alicante.

Moto is moped in Spanish.
Alquiler: to rent
