| Seattle | Seattle accomodation Posted: Thu March 27, 2008 05:29 PM UTC
Hi...I'm visiting Seattle in June, and plan to stay near to but not in SeaTac before moving on to tour Washington State.
Can anyone give me information about Federal Way, and whether it's a safe area to stay. Thanks in advance |

I'm not sure how many hotels are located in Federal Way per se, but if you are arriving at SeaTac there are numerous large brand hotels in the area. Not the absolutely safest place to stay - but if you use common sense and are aware of your surroundings you should be fine. Depending on which direction you are heading you may want to go a few exits further to Kent (south) or about 20 minutes north to the Northgate area. East you can go to Kirkland/Bellevue/Renton - but then you are increasing pricing of hotels. Have a safe trip!
