i am would like to know the nearer metro station from my hotel JINJIANG IN 77 Xi HUA Rd LIWAN district and if there is octopus card to use for the metro and bus and where to buy this card is there is thank you

You can buy a card called Yang Cheng Tong (Goat City Card). This cost 100 RMB and is loaded with 85RMB travel I think. They are sold at just about every metro station. And they are recharged at the dry cleaners which is also on every station. They are valid for metro fares, where they earn 5% discount, and buses where they don't. In theory taxis take them, but not in practice.

Metro fares are around 3-4 RMB. Bus fare is usually 2RMB, so the main benefit of the card is not having to fish around for change. You'd need to spend 300RMB on metro travel before you made any saving.
