Dear fellow VTs,

I would like to know whether anyone has stayed at yellow house hotel or any other budget accomodation below US$15 for a double room private ensuite?

I am planning to travel to saigon in 1st 2 weeks of June. What would the weather be like then?

hi. im not vert familiar with yellow house accomodations but i do know that the rainy season will just be beginning in june so better gear up :)

And yes, the rainy season will be underway. But at least that will help cool it down for the hot months of April/May. Just buy a small travel umbrella when you arrive.

I am not sure if this late answer can come to you in time?! I would like to add some more words to your questions. I hope you can find them nice and useful.

Regarding the hotel accommodation below usd15/room/night, I would suggest to stay at the Paster Guest House on Paster Street. I have some friends stay here and it's very good in term of price. It's also in Dist 1. Near the Hoa noodle shop and can take a walk to the Tan Dinh market. I think this guesthouse does not offer price on the internet. If you need, I can contact and help you!

Regarding the weather, June is a real start of the rainy season. The sun can not shine strongly for more than 10 days. But it rarely rains for long periods with most rain coming in short, heavy bursts.

Thanks very much for your info. I did not go vietname in June, instead I went to taiwan. But I will definitely visit hcm one of these days. But probably in December when its cooler. I'll get the info. from you then.
