I recommend you to try the Wasteels travel agency at Keleti station, next to track 9. That's less crowded.

Or, you might buy your ticket at Budapest-Nyugati station, where the international ticket office is also less busy (there are less int'l trains there) and catch the 20.05 limited stop local train ('zonazo') for Szob and take it to its first stop at Vac, arriving there at 20.30, whilst the train to Prague (the same as you would catch at Keleti) stops there at 20.42 and that's a satisfactory transfer time, longer delays are not too likely, though possible!

The problem is not only to buy a ticket. If you are landing at 19 pm, then, I am afraid you cannot catch the train at 20 pm, independent from the fact, whether you have a ticket or not. You should select an other train leaving later or an other plane landing earlier.

Additional information:
You may get information about booking by phone at numbers +36 (1) 371 94 49 or + 36 (1) 371 49 49 however you should take over the ticket with 40 minutes before the departure of the train at the latest, and payment only in HUF.

Sure, all the above mentioned options apply only if you are arriving at Budapest by train or bus, from the airport you won't be able to catch that train.
