Hello Everybody
I'm going to stay in Madrid for a week (25/04 to 02/05). I love Castles and Royal Palaces. Any suggestion around Madrid (easy to reach please) Thanks a lot Kisses Deb |

You can visit the royal palace in Madrid (http://www.travelinginspain.com/Palace.html) and you can easily get by train to Segovia, which has a fantastic castle (Alcazar de Segovia: http://www.travelinginspain.com/segovia2.htm).
It is apparently also possible to get by public transport to La Granja de San Ildefonso, a former royal summer residence near Segovia, by Linecar bus from Estación del Sur (or there may be organised tours from Madrid). See http://www.spain.info/TourSpain/Arte+y+Cultura/Mon For another castle it takes 2-3 hours by train to Manzanares from Madrid Atocha, sometimes changing in Ciudad Real/Alcazar de San Juan: http://www.feelmadrid.com/manzanarescastle.html
